Terms of Service for PDFKing

You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in regions where a higher age of digital consent applies (such as the European Union). If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

PDFKing is a free suite of browser-based tools that let you merge, split, compress, protect, unlock, rotate, and convert PDF documents. Under this service agreement, no account is required, and there is no fee. We may add, change, or remove features at any time to keep the Services reliable.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use PDFKing for lawful personal or business purposes. This license does not transfer ownership of the Services and may be revoked if you breach these Terms.

You agree to use PDFKing only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You will not:

• Upload, distribute, or process illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of our software or website.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems beyond normal human use, or bypass security features and rate limits.
• Use the Services to build a competing product or train AI or machine learning models.

We may suspend or terminate access to anyone who violates these rules.

You retain full ownership of every document you process through PDFKing. We do not claim any rights over your files, and we do not use them to train machine learning or AI models. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the rights necessary to process it.

The PDFKing name, logo, website design, source code, and related software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written permission.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or resources we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, content, or policies. Your interactions with any third party are governed by that party's terms and privacy policy — please review them before use. References to third-party terms are provided only as illustrative examples and do not imply endorsement.

PDFKing is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we make no promises about the accuracy or reliability of any output. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFKing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of the Services. Because the Services are provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).

You agree to indemnify and hold PDFKing harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to PDFKing at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our Services, applicable laws, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of PDFKing after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved by the courts of Gujarat, India, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Both sides agree to attempt a good-faith resolution before starting formal proceedings.
